I'm Alina Jafri, a UX/UI Designer based in Dubai, currently designing for regional, governmental, and tourism-focused projects at Create.

I was born and raised here in the UAE, which I believe deepens my care for making stuff for the region that's thoughtful, culturally grounded, and good.

Every great designer has a superpower, and mine is people.

I’ve built a network that spans investors working in the millions, artists, academics, archeologists, regional locals that span from the UAE to Al Ula, and entrepreneurs (among others). On top of being a one-woman user testing agency, this range has given me the privilege of having a grounded understanding of user motivations across every project I work on. I owe my network to being naturally curious (and maybe a bit too extroverted).

Additionally, working at Create has allowed me to learn and adopt AI tools like Claude, Midjourney, and Kling among others in both my workflow and day-to-day ideation. I know how to use AI for just about anything AI can do, and I can carry that into my work when necessary .

In my free time I like to write and practice piano but whooooo caaaaaaaaares.
